Above all, safety was our first priority. USAFP did internal and external inspections of each system and found, replaced, or repaired any deficiencies. In addition, the crew also tested and repaired the operation on two fire pumps. Lastly, they flow tested the standpipes and coordinated alarm functional testing with Simplex Grinnell fire alarms.Westlake Acute Care Facility was completed ahead of schedule by two days. The completion of this project assures the fire safety for the healthcare professionals and patients who will be using this facility. Now the hospital has been turned over to the Army Corps of Engineers and may receive patients soon.
